What does a mascot costume cost?
A range rather than a number: a simple animal with a static head and standard fur sits at the bottom, a 2.2-metre build with moving parts and custom-dyed fur at roughly three times that. The full breakdown is in the pricing guide.
How long does it take?
Twelve to sixteen weeks for a costume from signed design approval, plus three to five weeks of design before that. Plush runs take eight to twelve weeks, of which two are laboratory testing.
Do mascot costumes need EN71?
No. EN71 is toy safety law and a costume is not a toy. Plush toys do need it. Any supplier offering an EN71-certified costume is misreading the standard.
What is the minimum order for plush?
500 pieces per design. A 15 cm toy from one fabric and a 45 cm toy from six pattern pieces differ in unit price, which we quote per project, but the minimum run is the same.
