What a Mascot Actually Costs

No “from EUR 1” teasers. Here are the ranges we actually quote, what pushes a price up and what you can leave out without hurting the result.

What things cost

Mascot costume

From EUR X. One-off build, fitted to a named performer, 12–16 weeks.

Custom plush run

From EUR X per piece at the agreed minimum. Price falls with quantity.

Character design

From EUR X. Concept, turnaround sheets, 3D model and usage rules.

Ranges, not quotes. Send the task and you get a number.

What pushes the price up

  • Size and complexity of the head — the single biggest factor on a costume
  • Moving parts: blinking eyes, an opening mouth, articulated hands
  • Non-standard fur colours that need a custom dye run
  • Small plush quantities — tooling and testing are the same cost at any volume
  • A rush deadline that pushes other jobs down the queue

What you can leave out

  • A second set of liners — buy them later if the costume gets heavy use
  • The wheeled transport bag, if the costume never travels
  • Full 3D modelling, when your character already exists as a clean vector
  • Sizes at the extremes of the plush range — stick to 25–35 cm for retail

Frequently asked questions

Why will you not publish a fixed price list?
Because a 1.6 m bear with a static head and a 2.2 m dragon with a moving jaw are not the same product. A fixed list would either be useless or dishonest.
Can we get it cheaper?
Usually yes, by dropping extras rather than quality. The “what you can leave out” list above is where we start.
