Mascots for Technology and SaaS Companies

Tech companies already have a character — it lives in the docs, the 404 page and the sticker on someone’s laptop. What they rarely have is one that can be built in three dimensions.

What technology and SaaS companies come to us for

From flat illustration to real object

Your existing mascot exists as vector art. Turning it into a costume or a plush needs proportions rethought — heads that work on screen are unwearable at scale.

Developer swag that gets kept

Plush and keyrings outlive t-shirts in the affection of an engineering audience. They also photograph well, which is half the point.

Conference floor presence

A costume at a stand is remembered; a pull-up banner is not. For a booth competing against fifty others, that is the whole argument.

Typical package for a tech brand

  • Adaptation of your existing character into buildable 3D proportions
  • Turnaround sheets and a 3D model you keep for animation and UI work
  • Plush in desk size and hug size, EN71 tested so it can also go to families
  • Keyrings, pins and stickers for conference giveaways
  • One costume for booths, launches and office events
  • Editable source files, full rights transferred on final payment

What we need from you

  • Existing character files — vector if you have it, anything if you do not
  • Where it must work: product UI, docs, swag, booth, all of them
  • Conference dates, which are immovable and set the schedule
  • Quantities for giveaways, split by event if there are several
  • Who owns the original artwork, if it was drawn by an agency

Planning the budget

If the character already exists, the design stage is short and the budget shifts to production. If it exists only as a rough sketch, expect the design stage to be the larger half.

Conference deadlines are the usual constraint. Twelve to sixteen weeks for a costume means booking a Q4 event in Q2 — we would rather refuse than miss a keynote.
