Minimum order for custom plush
Runs start at 500 per design, whatever the size. Pattern-making, tooling and laboratory testing cost the same whether you order 500 or 5000 custom toys, so below that quantity those fixed costs dominate the unit price and the product stops making commercial sense. Larger bulk orders bring the unit price down.

Pattern and prototype
weeks 1–4
Your design is turned into flat pattern pieces and one prototype is sewn. You hold it in your hands first.

Approval
week 5
You approve the prototype of your custom toy in writing, or we adjust and sew another.

Production

Bulk production, with in-line checks against the approved piece.

Laboratory testing

Toys from the batch go to an accredited laboratory for all three parts of the toy safety standard.

EN71 and CE
Every manufacturing batch of custom stuffed toys goes to an accredited laboratory ahead of shipping: part 1 of EN71 covers mechanical and physical properties, part 2 flammability and part 3 migration of specific elements. You get the reports and the declaration of conformity with the goods, without having to ask.
Designs that work as retail plush
Studio visualisations. Simple silhouettes survive the shrink to a small stuffed toy; complex ones lose their face.

What is the minimum order for custom plush toys?
500 per design. Size and construction change the unit price; the threshold stays the same. A walking costume, by contrast, can be ordered as a single piece.
Can we sell these soft toys in the EU?
That is exactly what the EN71 testing and CE declaration are for. Keep the documents for the market surveillance authority.
Do you make a prototype first?
Always. Nothing goes into bulk production until you have held the prototype and signed it off.
Can the toy match our mascot costume exactly?
Close, though never identical — the materials behave differently at different scales. We colour-match and show you both ahead of production.
Can you turn our logo or drawing into a plush toy?
Usually, as long as it has a clear shape. The process starts by turning a logo, a drawing or an existing figure into flat pattern parts, so your custom design becomes a soft toy with the same colours and expression. Simple silhouettes work best at small sizes.
Are custom plush toys suitable as promotional products?
They are among the promotional products people keep longest. Brands use them as giveaways at fairs, as gifts for clients and staff, and as retail products in their own shops.
