Mascots for Food and Beverage Brands

For food brands the character often appears next to the product and sometimes touches it. That puts food-contact rules and hygiene into the specification from day one.

What food brands come to us for

Works on pack and in person

A flat version that survives being printed small on a wrapper, and a costume that matches it.

Hygiene at tastings

Wipeable surfaces, washable liners and gloves that can be changed between sessions.

Food-contact compliance

Where merchandise touches food — mugs, bottles, lunch boxes — certified materials and the paperwork to prove it.

Typical food-brand package

  • Character design with a legible small-format version for packaging
  • Costume with wipeable outer surfaces and changeable gloves
  • Merchandise on food-contact certified materials where relevant
  • Declarations of conformity for all food-contact items
  • Plush run for promotions and gift-with-purchase

Food-contact materials

Mugs, bottles, flasks and lunch boxes carrying your character are made from materials certified for food contact under Regulation (EC) 1935/2004, and you receive a declaration of conformity with each batch. Plush and textiles are not food-contact items; for those we supply OEKO-TEX documentation instead.

  • Declaration of conformity per batch, Regulation (EC) 1935/2004
  • Migration test reports where the item requires them
  • OEKO-TEX certification for textiles and plush
  • Dishwasher and temperature limits stated on every item
